"And we're dancin' all night
And you can try to change my mind
But you might have to wait in line
What's a girl gonna do? A diamond's gotta shine"
Bejeweled-TS
When I was a kid, I used to looooove writing. I had note
books full of random things I wrote; diary entries, Korean celebs I had a crush on, short stories, and also poems.
I don’t know what happened, now I don’t write anymore. I’ve
lost my only talent I guess. Or, I’ve simply become lazy. Too lazy to write anything. In
fact, too lazy to do anything.
Taylor once said,
“The trick to holding on
Was all that letting go”
You were just there for me to borrow
So why am I still drowning in sorrow?
It was the most expensive birthday gift I’d ever given myself: a solo trip to Bangalore, Karnataka, India!
I won’t lie and say that I went to Bangalore because of its beauty or panoramic scenes, because it wasn’t the case. I went there because I have some friends studying in the city, and one of them was my best friend, probably still is, I don’t know haha.
I’d always wanted to try solo
traveling. The farthest I’d solo traveled was probably to a nearby shopping
mall :D
In late 2017, however, I finally
got a chance to travel by myself to a foreign city, Padang. Padang is the
capital city of West Sumatra, a province I’d never visited before. Was I
nervous? Of course! But more than anything, I was excited!
“Selamat hari jadi ke-5 Sayang, aku mencintaimu.” Aku membaca kalimat pertama surat
yang ditulis oleh kekasihku.
“Aku nggak pinter mengucapkan kata-kata, kamu tahu kan
aku hanya pinter main game, hehe.”
Bodoh...
“Ini adalah iPad
kesayanganku, di dalemnya ada satu game
yang sangat keren. Aku mau kamu main game
itu, pasti kamu akan suka.”
Benar – benar bodoh.

Pernahkah kalian
merasa diawasi padahal kalian sedang sendiri? Pernahkah kalian merasa tiba-tiba
merinding dan bulu kuduk kalian berdiri? Pernahkah kalian merasa ada sepasang
mata yang selalu mengintai kalian ke mana pun kalian pergi?

“It’s a wig.” Setia, who was sitting next to
me, whispered to my right ear. We were talking about a freshman whose hair
looked so weird. His hair was too black, too shiny, and too long for freshmen
who had to cut their hair in 3-2-1 style.

“Fat! Ugly!” A
boy shouted in front of me.
“Skinny! Stupid!” I
insulted him back.
That is our sixth fight
that month. There was no day without a fight. I was so fed up with
him. I hated him.
There were things more important than her happiness, thought Indah. How could she laugh over the tears of the one she loves the most? That person's smile was the most important thing in her life. She’d do everything to make that person happy, including sacrificing her own happiness.
Hujan lebat
yang mengguyur College State sejak
subuh tadi membuatku betah bermalas-malasan di tempat tidur hangatku. Aku
